Dave Kralle serves the people of Pennsylvania’s 169th Legislative District in the office of State Representative Dennis M. O’Brien. The 169th Legislative District encompasses sections of Northeast Philadelphia including: Bustleton, Chalfont, East Torresdale, Millbrook, Modena Park, Morrell Park, Normandy, Parkwood, Somerton, and West Torresdale. Kralle has served on O’Brien’s legislative staff since the summer of 2005. During this time, O’Brien served as Speaker of the House in 2007 and 2008.
Prior to being tapped by O’Brien to serve on his official House staff, Dave served as a consultant to O’Brien’s re-election campaign and before that, a campaign intern. This experience led Dave to understand the needs and problems facing the Northeast.
Once Dave got started on O’Brien’s legislative staff, he set forth an aggressive outreach agenda for the Representative. This agenda included a Youth Expo, Senior Expo, Bringing Government to Your Door, Distribution of government literature and a Community Forum on Crime and Violence among others. Dave is a fixture at every neighborhood Civic Association meeting within the district. He also is consistently in attendance and is an active participant at the 8th Police District Advisory Council and Community Court.
Dave is a member of the Chalfont Town Watch where he serves as the group’s treasurer. Through the town watch, constituents in the 24th Division and the entire Chalfont neighborhood have seen a drastic reduction in quality of life crimes.
Dave’s is a graduate of Our Lady of Calvary Grade School, and Archbishop Ryan High School where he was the class Salutatorian; both schools are located in the 169th District. He now sits on the Ryan High School Alumni Board. Dave previously served as the In-House Baseball director at Calvary Athletic Association where he remains active as a volunteer. He is a lector at his parish church, Our Lady of Calvary. Further, Dave is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Dave earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice at Temple University. He is currently studying part-time at the University of Pennsylvania Fels School of Government for his Master’s degree in Government Administration.
